• If there is something that characterises the hiking trails of A Pontenova it is that they are totally different from each other. Each of the routes has a different theme:

• If you are looking for a very simple route that is suitable to enjoy as a family with children, both on foot and by bicycle, you can opt for the Ruta do Ferrocarril.

• If you want to immerse yourselves in the history of our people seeing in situ the different mining-industrial facilities that are still preserved; or want to go looking for adventure, crossing the imposing entrance of Mina Consuelo, the Ruta dos Fornos or the Ruta das Minas.

• If you like nature, you can choose between the Ruta de As Reigadas where you can be in direct contact with nature by entering the heart of this immense untouched woodland, or the Ruta da Seimeira also, in addition to nature, traditional architecture can be seen in of one of the most charming towns from this area: Vilarxubín.

• If you would like to see a waterfall nestled in an unique environment full of trees but do not want to walk much, your choice would be the Ruta da Férrea.
