It is a linear route that starts from the village of Sanxés, where we can admire a series of hand carved wooden sculptures by self tough Manuel Marqués. In this series of sculptures, you can see dry trees which have been polished forming figures and twisted shapes.
The route crosses the Sanxés and Teixido fragas (undisturbed forestation) and ends in the village of Vilarxubín. As this setting and route is well preserved, it is one of the most interesting ethnographic villages of the many that exist in A Pontenova.
Taking a few detours from the main route, we can visit a couple of viewpoints called “Pena do Castelo” and “Pena de Neira”, from where we will see a panoramic view, that includes in addition to the Sanxés and Teixido fragas already mentioned, also those of As Reigadas and Carballido.
