A thousand and one impressions on the same route

You also have the option to explore some of our routes several times throughout the year seeing a different landscape. Although the physical route will be the same, you will find a totally different impression during each season of the year.

Such is the case, for example, of the Ruta de As Reigadas: During the spring, you can experience a multi-colored explosion caused by the many and varied kinds of wild flowers that emerge here at this time of year. During the summer, the immense woodland de As Reigadas will protect the walker from the strong sun in its refreshing shade. During autumn, it will be a fragrance that seduces you in addition to its ocher, gold, brown and green tones. In addition, spectacular sights of the waterfalls and the Reigadas river itself can be enjoyed as this is a time of abundant rain. During the winter, since the route runs through high altitude areas, it is very common for fog banks to form and since the trees that make up the woodland are deciduous, make this route through the mist spectacular with the bare trees looking like skeletons rising from the
mist.
